Clinical Trials Forum in association with the ECMC network

The National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) in association with the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centres (ECMC) Secretariat organise the Early Phase Trials Forums (EPTF) and the Late Phase Trials Forums (LPTF).

The Forums are a chance for senior investigators and industry scientists to come together with younger scientists, research nurses, data managers, consumers and policy makers in order to discuss issues and share experiences of early and late phase clinical trials and trial design.  The Forum meetings are free to attend but pre-registration is required.  If you have an enquiry, please email us.

The 2008 Early Clinical Trials Forum focused on Novel Methodologies in Early Clinical Trials. The morning plenary session featured speakers from both academia and industry discussing their experiences of incorporating combination therapies, imaging and other novel methodologies into early phase clinical trials. The afternoon workshops focused on ; (1) Immunotherapeutics, (2) Translational Radiotherapy and Innovations in Radiotherapy and (3) Cancer Research UK Phase 1/2 clinical trials
