COLLABORATING WITHIN EUROPE
EUROCAN+PLUS
This EU-funded project aims to identify topics within cancer research which would benefit from greater collaboration within Europe. It is also exploring how to undertake such coordination. NCRI member organisations and staff are involved in some of the work packages in order to share experience about partnership working at UK level. The project, which is being coordinated from the International Agency for Research on Cancer in France (IARC) is due to be completed in late 2007.
European Organisation for Research and Treatment on Cancer (EORTC)
NCRN collaborates with EORTC on a number of international clinical trials.
European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI)
The NCRI Informatics Initiative is working closely with EBI.
