Clinical imaging in oncology has conventionally been about imaging tissue morphology. In the future it will also be about imaging tissue function. New imaging techniques will improve disease detection and allow us to detect response to treatment earlier. This session reviews the state-of-the-art in MRI, PET and photonic imaging.
