Radiotherapy
NCRI’s Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad) brings together UK experts to provide national leadership and support the development of radiotherapy research.
Living with and beyond cancer
NCRI’s Living With and Beyond Cancer initiative aims to increase the level of research in this area to help improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer.
Pathology
The NCRI initiative in cellular molecular pathology (CM-Path) aims to tackle the decline in UK academic pathology by reinvigorating research activity in this area
Surgery
NCRI supports surgeons to become engaged in research, for example through the Future of Surgery workshop series from May 2016 to March 2017.
Biobanking
Biobanking is now part of the CM-Path initiative.
