A number of NCRI’s charity partners have had their fundraising activities significantly disrupted by COVID-19 and expect to see a significant drop in income. To ensure that NCRI can deliver on its mission we have taken decisions to reduce our expenditure, including a temporary 20% reduction in both pay and hours for all staff. From 1 May NCRI staff will only be working from Monday – Thursday. While capacity during this time will be reduced, we will continue to keep up momentum in key areas and fulfil our purpose to improve health and quality of life by accelerating progress in cancer-related research.
