SPIRIT-Path has proposed the development of an online Good Clinical Practice (GCP)-level training package catered specifically to a pathologist’s role in clinical trials.
We hope this module will be hosted on an openly available e-learning platform that will make it accessible to all pathologists interested and involved in clinical trials.
We also feel that this would add to what is currently available, with new material related specifically to histology and other pathology services including microbiology.
These new modules would better inform members of staff within those disciplines, leading to enhanced uptake of training, knowledge and confidence to facilitate involvement in research.
