NCRI is a member of the International Cancer Research Partnership (ICRP), which includes cancer research funders from USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia. The ICRP is a unique alliance of cancer organisations working together to enhance global collaboration and strategic coordination of research.
NCRI’s work is founded on improving communication, coordination and collaboration. As well as the Partner organisations within NCRI working together, we build connections with other research funders, clinical research networks, royal colleges, trade organisations, professional bodies and patient groups.
UK cancer research involves many thousands of researchers, all bringing specialist expertise from different disciplines. From clinicians in hospitals, to scientists within industry or academic labs; statisticians in clinical trials units, to nurses within clinical research networks – each has a vital part to play.
