Are you passionate about shaping the cancer research landscape to help improve outcomes for people affected by head and neck cancer?

We are now inviting applications for Chairs and Deputy Chairs of four new NCRI Head and Neck Group working groups. These time-limited groups have been established to address each of the NCRI Head & Neck Group’s strategic priority areas:

  • Identify the optimal approach for collaboration between basic scientists, translational scientists, and clinicians to engage and collaborate in future head and neck cancer clinical trials by developing a workshop and producing a position paper.
  • Identify the gaps in salivary gland cancer research and develop strategic priorities for this area of research by bringing together researchers from across the community to host a strategy day.
  • Improve outcomes for patients with locally advanced hypopharyngeal cancer by designing a study that will deliver direct patient benefit to a patient population with current unmet need.
  • Identify ways to improve outcomes for elderly and geriatric head and neck cancer patients and provide guidelines of how to achieve this.

We are looking to appoint inspirational Chairs and Deputy Chairs for the working groups whose leadership, vision and energy will help drive and shape the structure and strategy of the groups, in line with NCRI’s values.
