Join the NCRI Networks and be part of a central hub for people working within the cancer research field to become involved in NCRI Group activities and hear key updates on progress made by the NCRI Groups.

Why should I join?

The benefits of joining one (or more) of the NCRI Network(s) are:

  • Hear about membership opportunities for the NCRI Groups.
  • Receive invitations to sit on panels for various NCRI Group activities such as proposal guidance meetings for the NCRI Groups.
  • Opportunities to participate in consultations for National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.
  • Become involved with the NCRI Groups strategy development process.
  • Being part of a central hub and receive communication on the progress of, and key updates from, the Groups.
  • Be the first to hear about NCRI Group workshops and events.

Please note, members will need to meet specific eligibility criteria and complete an application form to participate in some of the above opportunities.

Who can join?

The network is open to anyone who works within cancer research, including (but not limited to) clinicians, basic scientists, statisticians, nurses and allied health professionals and people who are not involved in cancer research but would like to be kept informed about NCRI Group activities.

People who reside outside of the UK are also able to join.

If you are an advocate (patient, carer or person affected by cancer) or an early career researcher looking to join one of the NCRI Networks, all opportunities specific to you will be shared via the NCRI Advocate Forum or NCRI Early Career Researcher Forum. We recommend that you sign up to the relevant forum, in addition to the NCRI Network(s).

Commitments of a network member

The involvement of a network member is not meant to be onerous and allows the network member the ability to decide what activities they wish to participate in and when.
