It is with sadness that NCRI shares news of the death of Shirley Harrison, a trustee for NCRI.
Shirley worked with NCRI in a number of capacities over the years, she was one of the first consumer members of the NCRI Breast Cancer Clinical Studies Group, a member of the NCRI Consumer Forum, a member of the NCRI Board and most recently a trustee of NCRI. Her professional approach combined with the consideration she always showed others helped the organisation develop and ensured the interests of patients and carers was championed at Board level. All at NCRI who worked with Shirley will miss her valued advice and generosity of spirit which hallmarked everything she did.
